Free answer checks now run automatically

  • Once you choose questions for a saved Free site, Robot Visible now checks them automatically each month. You no longer need to return to start the run.
  • The report shows when the next automatic check is scheduled, while the Free allowance remains one answer check per month.
  • If an answer provider fails, the check can be retried without using up that month's allowance.
  • Changes found by the automatic check now appear in your answer evidence and can trigger a citation-loss alert.

Clearer next steps across the dashboard

  • The dashboard now opens with the state of the work — what ran, what moved, and what is waiting on you — instead of a wall of panels. Explore the sample workspace.
  • Citation opportunities route to the page and change most likely to earn the answer, so an opportunity ends in a specific next move.
  • Recent activity reads as one timeline across scans, fixes, answer checks, and proven outcomes.
  • When an answer check cannot start, the reason is named before you click rather than after.

See your page beside what a model reads

  • A free scan now renders and photographs your page while you watch, then opens the report with that picture beside the text a model actually receives from the same URL, and states the gap in one sentence. View a sample report.
  • Scan progress names the rendering step while it happens, so no earlier step sits reading as running while the browser is still working.
  • Readiness and the observed answer are shown as two separate measurements. Neither is presented as the cause of the other.
  • Fixed provider answers being clipped on phone screens, an off-screen link control, and a cookie notice that covered the scan and the report.

Evidence from the crawler that scanned you

  • Scans now keep an inspectable record of each crawl: what was fetched, what rendered, and what was extracted, page by page. See how scanning works.
  • Monitored pages show the rendered capture beside the extracted text, so you can check what a crawler received rather than trust a summary of it.
  • Page captures are stored with the run that produced them and carried into reports.
  • Repeat scans reconcile against earlier runs, so rescanning a site cannot double-count a page.

The AEO Action Loop

  • Robot Visible is now organised around one loop: measure the answer, understand why a competitor won it, decide the next move, ship it, and prove what moved. Read what AEO is.

  • The dashboard names which stage of the loop is standing still, derived only from evidence your workspace holds. A readiness scan on its own does not count as measuring an answer.

A calmer, more measured interface

  • Scan, report, and dashboard now share one visual system built on measurement: one mark per check, graduated scales, and plain labels for URLs.
  • A live answer reads as an annotated transcript. Marks only ever wrap words the assistant actually said, and what was missing is noted in the margin rather than added to the quote.
  • Before-and-after comparisons never strike through your own copy, and state an absent element rather than quoting one that was not there.
  • An answer is judged against the bar its question sets, so a question no assistant answers with a shortlist is no longer marked down for lacking one.

Agree to a plan change before it happens

  • A downgrade now shows the exact capacity difference — domains, pages, questions, competitors, members, and on-demand checks — and the date it takes effect, before you confirm it. Compare plans.
  • A plan change pauses what it no longer covers instead of deleting it, and you choose which sites stay active. Nothing is removed.
  • A paused site says it is paused and offers the way out, rather than presenting actions that cannot run.
  • Scheduled downgrades can be reversed before they take effect, and annual pricing shows the saving rather than a second monthly price.

Questions that say where they came from

  • The questions editor now names the source behind every suggestion, including the Search Console property, the surface, and the 28-day window it covers. Explore citation monitoring.
  • A question that was checked but never saved can now be tracked in one step, keeping the evidence already gathered against it.
  • Search operators, pasted URLs, and bare domains are filtered out before they can take a question slot.

  • Every free report now includes one live AI answer check on an unbranded question, with the source evidence behind the result. See an example report.
  • Locked recommendations show the real generated text cut off mid-sentence, instead of describing in bullet points what a paid plan would have added.
  • Free and Monitor are compared as two months of answer coverage drawn on the same scale, so the difference is visible rather than asserted.
  • Fixed a case where a question naming your brand could be asked, and its guaranteed mention reported as organic discovery.

  • New monthly research measuring which brands AI answer engines actually cite for the questions real buyers ask, one category at a time. See the AI Visibility Index.
  • Each edition publishes its full question set, the engines used, and how much the answers moved between identical asks, so you can see the error bar, not just the result.
  • A recurring finding, made plain: most citations link to publishers and review sites rather than the brand's own website, so being named and being cited are measured separately.
